Dr. P.J. Muriuki is a Dental Surgeon and a graduate of the University of Nairobi Dental School, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS). He holds a license from the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council as a Dental Surgeon and has several certifications for post-graduate dental courses.
His professional experience includes working in both the private and public health sectors in Kenya. He is an Associate at Riverside Dental Suite, and his areas of interest are Aesthetic/Restorative Dentistry and Pediatric Dentistry. He is also a National Council member at the Kenya Dental Association and the Vice-Chair of the KMPDU-Nairobi Branch.
Dr. Muriuki is known as an oral healthcare advocate and his mission is to “demystify dentistry through dissemination of oral health education.” He has also organized numerous dental camps and oral health talks.
